Riders frequently experienced anxiety when drivers made unexpected stops or took unfamiliar routes. Without communication channels, riders would cancel trips or contact support, leading to poor experiences and lost revenue. Drivers needed a way to communicate legitimate delays without compromising safety.

Solution

We designed a contextual notification system that allows drivers to quickly communicate delays with pre-set messages while maintaining focus on driving. The system uses location data to intelligently suggest relevant delay reasons and automatically notifies riders with updated ETAs.
